you have to pay extra to get something put on your hamburger but they don't take off the price if you get something taken off?

You mean like in the early 1900s when lead was put into gas, they increased the price, which made sense. But when it was taken out in the early 1970s, they increased the price instead of reducing it. That kind of thing? I think it's one of those deals where the reason is, because they can.

This is a very interesting question and I wonder about this myself.

I'm guessing it's all about money. That's why we have to pay so many taxes. The government will do whatever it takes to get their money and charging extras on food is one way they get it! Sad but true.

i agree, i think they should pay less if u want something taken off your hamburger. i also think it should be both ways. =)

I have asked... and the answer was most unsatisfying: "LoOK lady, I just work here ok? I don't make the rules." Well... who can argue with that?

trust me i know. i order without meat and i pay the same as the people who order with meat! doesn't make sense to me!!!!!!!
