It was like a question I had for my homework, and I said I disagreed, but I wanna see other people's perspectives to this.

Oh haha I'm such a retard I guess I didn't know what beholder meant =p. I think I'm looking for a pretty sweet explanation to your opinon of this quote.

I agree. What that means is that something that might look really great to you, or something you love, might not appeal to somebody else... You see something beautiful, somebody else might find it hideous. See? Like my husband loves his mother... he thinks she is classy and beautiful... I think she should jump on her broomstick and fly out to sea... (I'm joking obviously... but I hope you get it)

In other words everyone has a different opinion of what is what so beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It is absolutely true. What may be beautiful to you may seem average to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is true.

Yes, I agree with it, but if you disagree, and you can back it up in your homework assignment, that is probably all the teacher is looking for. In fact, it will mostly likely make for more interesting reading.
