The Lakers are about the 5th or 6th best team in the west, even with Odom healthy. No chance they make it to the finals

even as a huge Lakers fan.. Nash is having an MVP year and Dallas is looking really good.. The west is loaded while the east is weak.. Yea, a healthy shaq should definetely help the heat.

Not even, A healthy LA team can not win the western division. First they would have to beat the PHX Suns. The Suns are playing the best basketball in the NBA. If they did shock the world and beat the Suns in a 7 game series they would next have to travel to San Antoino and play the sure handed Spurs I don't see them even getting out the western division this year.

HELL YES!!!! Right now they have a good record and they're missing 2 starters. And just imagine them with their starters all back and healthy. They're playing good right now, but will play great once they're healthy. Kobe has been really stepping up and getting his teammates involved. Once Lamar and Kwame get back they will be able to handle tougher frontcourt teams including the Heat. GO LAKERS!!

They have held their own without Odom...when they get him back look out! When Shaq comes back the Heat can win the East because the Eastern Conf is pathetic.

No way! The Lakers would need a major trade to get past Phoenix, Dallas or the Spurs. I do think they could win the East if they were on that side though

When hell freezes over, this can happen. With the inside dominance of a revitalized Amare Stoudemire, with the ambidextrous play of Shawn Marion, and with the mastermind general Steve Nash, along with their supporting cast who average double figures...there is no way any team will get past this team. The run and gun style of play is no match for a slow paced, methodical style of play that belongs to the Lakers. The triangle offense is so dull.
