Try your virus scan then your best bet would be to take and use your restore disks and wipe out your hard drive and start over clean. Of course back up your data first but make sure it is virus free before you do that.

Run a virus scanner. But it sounds more like a hardware problem. Try rebooting in safe mode and updating all of your drivers.
