hm....well there are several diffent things you can do. Usually the easiest one to do is a car wash, but since its the middle of winter thats not such a good idea. what my school does is hold a movie night (usually run by the student council) and we have a concession stand and sell nachos, pizza, chips, soda, water, popcorn, etc. its a good idea to buy in bulk at a sams club or costco....dont charge for admission though because of copywrite laws, but charge everything else. Its fun and you make a lot of profit. anyone is invited to this, and its usually done on a friday night.

another idea is selling hot coca in the mornings, and selling "sprit beads" of your schools colors 2 for a dollar. they are mardi gra beads, and every kid loves to wear those. you can get them cheap at any local party store (we get ours for 20 cents each at the party city). its kinda became a competition between students to see who can get the most beads, and it also works great for rasng school spirit.

come up with ideas on different social/fun events you can host for students, that is the best route to go.

good luck with everything...i hope these helped out!

you could make bead jewellery, earrings, bracelets and necklaces, and sell them at a "fund" day,
you could also run an art sale,
at the same time, a car wash ask car owners to make a donation of their choice, a bar-b-que
you could have a bake sale,
or do a movie premier night where you rent movies and have feature rooms for the showing of the movies sell the tickets,
sell popcorn, pop, candies (buy them wholesale).
you may be able to have the teachers participate in special theme days, where a teacher pays to not have to dress up etc.....punk rock day, 5 dollars to opt out of participating!!!

do a talent show,

ask everyone to go through their drawers, pockets, and change tins, piggy bank's and ask their friends/parents/siblings to give up all of their pennies nickles and dimes. this is a great way to make money
