There is a girl on my bus who will not stop staring at me and I really don't want to be disrespectful to her by giving her mean looks or cussing at her even though sometimes I want to. What could she possibly want and what do you think I can do to resolve this situation? Thank you very much for taking the time to answer this question.

To let all of my respondents know I am 18 and she is 15 so it is against the law for me to date her so the whole "she has a thing for me" idea is appreciated but I cannot go through on that one so any other ideas. Again thank you for answering my question.

Dude, I know what you mean. I get like that when people stare at me too. But your case is different. I think either she likes you or has something to say to you. Or maybe she sees something different in you. Maybe she wants to be your friend, maybe she is jealous of you cuz you have good grades, a nice family, cool friends, a good personality and so on. The best way to resolve the issue is to:
1.) Ignore it. Act as if you don't even care. She'll get bored eventually when she can't catch you making eye contact with her.
or
2.) Go up to her when she keeps staring at you and ask her if she has something to say. Ask it nicely.
My best friend taught me those things a couple of days ago. It works, I deal with a few people who stare at me daily and they are in like all of my classes. So I think if I can make it then you will too! :)

I guess she just has a crush on you and you could talk to her and explain to her that staring is not going to get her anywhere with you and that she is still young. And if you do not want to talk to her, just let her know but gently.

She likes you. She wants to kiss you. But really I think that she likes you. You should go up to her and ask her why she is staring at you on the bus. It never hurts to ask.

if you dont think she likes you, then just POLITELY turn to her and say,"uhh hi" and then shell know that you know shes staring at you.because she may not relise she is.if shes doing it just to be annoying, and u ask her to stop and she doesnt, then u can get mad.

she likes you ...either that or you look funny...lol but I doubt that......but the only thing you can do is ask her nicely to stop(cussing her out will not help) if she doesn't stop then you can give her mean looks

It may be irritating, but the best thing to do would be to grin and bear it. I would advise you to actually try to say something to her. You might be surprised. She obviously has some sort of interest in you. everyone dissevers a shot.

People do that all the time in my school and I find it annoying. I just tell her in a hesitant voice "I'm..kind of busy." And walk off.

Say hi.....don't embaress her...it will live with her forever. If it is bothering you that bad....write her a note asking her to stop staring.....that way no one will get hurt.
