.If you turn off pop up blocker it is a mistake, it causes to many problems turned off. it is needed to block unwanted pop ups. When you try getting in lounge or room and it doesn't work. click on pop up blocker on yahoo tool bar. On the drop down list click on Always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked. high light yahoo.com then click allow. This is the proper way to use the pop up blocker.when in the lounge select small windows in options box,once in room expand it.

Sometimes it depends on what browser you use.
For Mozilla Firefox, click on Tools > Options > Beside Block Pop-up windows, click on exceptions. Then copy the URL (The bar that currently says http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai.lrBao5RUNsCI4pMg47bP1xQt.?qid=20070122173609AAvREZ0) and paste it in the 'Address of Web Site' bar.

1) Press the Caps Lock key. Caps = SHOUTING!
2) Download IE7; this has a pop-up blocker built in.

Well, depending on which browser you use, there are many different ways...sometimes, beneath the toolbar, it says to disable pop-up blocker to let this one through, click here, and then follow the instructions

Depends on your program.
Read the documentation, most will allow you to create exceptions, or even disable the program completely (temporary or permanent) without uninstalling it.
