Try this, if your car have remote locking and u have a spare 1 at home, ring some 1 on thier cell fone and ask them to press the unlock button from thier end(put it near the cell fone) while u stand near the driver's door. It work trust me(both parties needs to be on a cell fone this this to work).

Use your cell phone, apparently you can call someone wiht the spare, have them hit the unlock key, and if you are standing close enough to the vehicle, it will transmit the signal. Never tried it, but heard it a lot. Good Luck!
