in a 1998 Mercury Mystique. I know there's no set answer...I'd just like a general idea. Thanks! =)

Most 1996 and newer cars have the four wire (heater) style sensor. These run about $75 each. Many cars have two some have four. Shop time can be $65 to $95 an hour. Two sensors should be able to be changed in about an hour.

Look on ebay, I replaced all 3 on my blazer and got them for 4@% each new, they are Bosch too, so they are good ones. I installed them myself. Anybody with general mechanic ability can change an oxygen sensor. All you need is a 22 mm or 7/8th wrench. So go look on ebay, good luck. :)
