What are the best stores to buy cute baby clothes?

I love love love Gymboree! I dont mind spending the extra bucks on cute clothes because I save and reuse them for future kids. They also have a high resale on e-Bay and Craigslist. I cant stand Walmart or Target brands that shrink and fade after one wash, or have buttons that fall off. One of my favorite hobbies is photography, mainly of my family. So I like having that extra touch for spur of the moment shots. Gymboree also sizes there clothes slightly larger so they fit longer and most (if not all) have the adjustable waist bands. I also like how they coordinate sets that you can mix and match, not just for one kid, but for the entire family!

My top list of Favorite stores are-
Gymboree
Baby Gap
Old Navy (great clearance racks for "play clothes" that are still good quality)

The ONLY clothes that I like from Walmart are the Carter's cotton pajamas. Those hold up after quite a few washings, but they can go a little over board with the flame protectant tightness deal. I always buy them a size larger as my poor kid's arms look like sausages in them!

It depends on how much you're willing to spend. For the less expensive side, I found that Old Navy had really cute stuff for my baby boy. A little more expensive is Janie and Jack, which I love, but if you go online they have more on sale than in their stores! Also Baby Gap is good - same thing, on line has more sale product than some of the stores.

I would look for a store called Once Upon A Child that's a good stor if you want some nice top brand name baby clothes like Polo,Gape, Old Navy, and The Children's Place that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for.

If you want name brand items, without the crazy price, you should check out TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall's ... stores like that. I've found lots of Ralph Lauren for my son at TJ Maxx. The rule to these stores is check often because they get shipments in practically every day and they never know what they're going to get. Also check E-bay. A lot of mother's sell their baby clothes on E-bay. You can even go to consignment shops that specialize in baby stuff ... they're even cheaper than the stores or E-bay.

The truth?? Good old fashioned YARD SALES!!! Babies grow SO FAST that there are countless yard sales where you can find very nice clothing for babies/young children!! For a very special occassion: go to several stores & just take a look around. However, spending hundreds of dollars on clothing that your baby basically will outgrow in 3-4 months max....... just doesn't make any sense!!!

Old Navy and Gap. Thier clothes fit well, are made to last, and are very cute and comy. I was against name brands at first, until I tried them.
Also Carter's is great....I prefer the Carter's brand (available at Wal-mart) for the sleepers and onesies over any other.

Zellars cloths tend to tear at the seams...

Bay, Walmart, Pleaz Mum makes really good quality ones

I would suggest buying those sleepers without legs. They are long and tie at the feet.... they are no nice for the middle of the night changings.. lifesavers
