I mean, why not? If Man can evolve, what's to stop a Creator to evolve as well?

OK.. I'll bite. If you say the Creator evolved, where was he during the big bang? How did he create it if he wasn't there to start it?

How about this. If the universe is cyclic (unlikely at present), and time starts at the big bang and stops at the big crunch, there is no way to label one cycle before another since this would require a time dimension beyond normal time. So maybe an evolved creator in one cycle could separate out thru technical wizardry and then serve as creator in another cycle, which we can't really label as a later cycle but only as a different universe.

Of course, this belongs in metaphysics, not physics.

It's entirely possible that God is some kind of intelligent being and is in some way part of this universe.
