Do African American organisations support or assist other African Americans in other parts of the Americas?

Do organisations who promote opportunities and help support African Americans within the United States, NAACP etc ever reach out to their fellow brothers and sisters, who by chance their ancestors ended up in Brazil instead of the USA. I am sure they have less opportunties in these countries.
