Physical abuse is out of the picture !!! My Mom was abused when I was just a little kid by my step father and it was horrible !!!
He used to hit her like he was hitting another man. I still live with the images in my mind to this day and I'm 35 years old now. That goes for a man beating a woman or a woman beating a man. If someone is violent you need to get away and stay away from this person.

If your girlfriend treats you bad you walk away from the realtionship you don't resort to physcal abuse, there is NO right to pay back by physical abuse. Besides it's against the law, so in otherwords you would prefer to go t to jail rather than simply walking away? I'm sure there is a guy by the name of BUBBA in prison just waiting for your butt.

two wrongs never make a right. if she abuses you and you don't like it...be the bigger and more mature person and L.E.A.V.E. if she treats you that badly then you need to get a place of your own and keep her out of it. better yet...break up. if your relationship with this woman is causing you this much pain...then by all means break up and move on with your life.

no it is never good to pay back a hurt with another hurt. just leave the relationship before u do that, physical abuse shows your true character, and the man u are. men who hit women are cowards, and hate their selves. just get out of it before u do something u will be ashamed of later on.

Let see how society views it . . .
If it was the reverse, the bf treats the gf bad, and the gf beats on the bf . . . what will you hear . . . attagirl, go get him, girlpower, he deserved it.
Now, your scenario . . . what will you hear . . . click slam (and now you are waiting for an attorney).
It is a double standard . . . because women have stereotype themselves as the weaker sex . . . when in fact it is the other way around. (Hey, don't get your panties in a bunch, it is the truth.) Yes, men are physically stronger . . . but women are emotionally stronger and manipulative.
Do you know why men die sooner? It is nothing physical, but is emotional (stress . . . work, home, bills, children) . . . heart attack. Push a button so long, a man retaliates or he weakens and things start to go wrong with him and she erodes his self-esteem and turns him into a complete loser.
