Scientists long have issued the warnings: The modern world's appetite for cars, air conditioning and cheap, fossil-fuel energy spews billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, unnaturally warming the world.

Yet, it took the dramatic images of a hurricane overtaking New Orleans and searing heat last summer to finally trigger widespread public concern on the issue of global warming.

Climate scientists might be expected to bask in the spotlight after their decades of toil. The general public now cares about greenhouse gases, and with a new Democratic-led Congress, federal action on climate change may be at hand.

Yes, the great debate is over. It's time to give it up. Bush and the oil companies have come around to agreeing that it's time to start reducing CO2 emissions. (http://wcco.com/local/local_story_024232003.html , http://www.allamericanpatriots.com/m-news+article+storyid-18097.html )

All that's left now is whether we have the political will to do what needs to be done and whether a democratic congress will allow Bush to get the credit for making sweeping reforms.

when you're heavily doing a project then look on the technological expertise no longer human beings's "concepts and comments". The technological expertise is rather sparkling, unequivocal and agreed upon for over 2 a lengthy time period. don't be distracted through the "there is not any evidence" or "the scientists do not agree" arguments as both were shown to be pretend and purely touted interior the previous 5 or 6 years. those who deny international Warming or that humanity has an effect on international Warming haven't any medical evidence to keep up their positions so as that they many times revert to different strategies. a common reaction will be to attack all of us who helps action and then quote a novelist as being a medical source!! Global Warming is a fact. A fact that we should deal with the sooner the better. I don't think we people singularly cause a big part of the problem. I do, however, feel that big business with their smokestacks, etc. does cause much of the global effects we are experiencing now. The Environmental Protection Agency should be given more money to deal with this problem and they must give us good, solid, usable steps we can take and good options to replace them with. I know global warming is now the "buzz word" that's most popular, but I don't think much will be done about it. Its sort of like showing people the evidence on how cigarette smoking is bad for you and yet many people smoke. We will continue cause global warming and really not do anything about it to majorly change it until it happens and it will be too late.

global warming is a fact.
whether it is caused by man or just aggravated a bit by him is another thing ,as there has been climate change since the beginning of time.
i think a lot of the effect man has on it is exaggerated,it has become the new bandwagon that all politicians want to hop onto to secure their tenures or inveigle new ones into the worlds second most lucrative business.

It's a complete fabrication by people who want to bring down the socio-economic fabric of America.

The media has made it so it's impossible to be against global warming restrictions.
