i want to learn to knit fairly quickly. is there a web site or something i could go to to learn? my town is really really small and i don't think we have a place to go to learn like that. i would like a good website that might also show me. please

ok go to a craft store and buy the klutz kit for learning to knit. it is what I bought and I learned quickly and it comes with everything you need. Also, if you want, email me and I can give you instructions!! Good luck!!

There are several sites where you can get exellent diagrams and instructions to learn to knit.
Lionbrand.com, interweavepress.com/knitting. You can also do a search for the Knitting Guild of America. They offer learn as you go certification in knitting, Yup, you can become a certified knitting instructor if you get really interested.

you can also go to your library and look for knitting books if you are a begginner go to the childrens section they have grea books for learning and then work you r way up

http://www.knittinghelp.com is one of the best sites out there. They have great videos and resources. Debbie Stoller's "Stitch 'n *****" books are also great.
Don't forget to visit your local library for books as well. They have old and new.

hgtv has a new show called, nitty gritty, also go to hgtv's web site and diy.net, great resourses for tons of thing!!!! love them both, have fun
