I'm trying to get pregnant and it seems like about 10 to 15 minutes after sex I feel a dischange come down. I go to the bathroom and my underwear is wet. Is this his semen coming back down? Is this normal and will I get pregnant?

Yep, what goes up must come down! Don't worry....there are so many millions of sperm you wouldn't believe it. The strongest ones will hopefully make it to that egg and you will be in business. If you want to increase your odds, try laying in bed for about 15 minutes after sex with a pillow under your butt and your feet elevated to hold it all in and get the most possible chance to get those little guys to swim up there. You will still have it drip out when you're done but it could help.

i would talk to your ob-gyn, it sounds like you may have a tilted uterus, which is causing the semen to come back out. The other ladies are right, you should elevate your pelvis with a pillow or two after intercourse and stay that way for 30 minutes to an hour. My ob-gyn told use to try other positions that ensures deeper penetration that helps the semen get where it needs to go... I have a tilted uterus and two beautiful little boys.

The same thing happens to me and I've always assumed it was my husband's semen. I have been told by family and nurses to keep my lower body elevated for at least 30 minutes after intercourse to allow gravity play its part. When I do that, the discharge is definitely a lot less. Try keeping your lower body elevated at least 30 minutes and see if that helps.

One thing to remember, approximately 5,000 sperm are created every 30 seconds. You're only increasing your chances of one of them to make it to your egg if you elevate your lower body.
