AMD Sempron is a cpu processor and would have no effect on wireless. A WiFi card (internal or external) would determine your wireless capabilities. If the system you are looking at doesn't specify an internal WiFi (B,G, or N) LAN ard, then you would need to purchase one that would go in your PCMIA slot.

a processor really has nothing to do with wireless capabilities other than it has the speed to handle the info between the motherboard and the device( wireless device) , to access information. i have built 1800 amd computers that worked with wireless. so you need to look at your settings and your isp provider to get them to link up to the net.
