If you have a 28-day cycle you are...5wks pregnant. Due Sept. 23, 2007.
You can easily calculate your due date (and keep up to date on everything thats happening with baby weekly) at Babycenter.com :) Its a pretty nifty site.

Did your last period start on December 17th? If so you are 5 weeks and 1 day but the baby is just around 3 weeks 1 day. The doctors count starting from the day of your last period, just so they have a definate date but generally you don't actually get "pregnant" untill 2 weeks later. That is when you ovulate, the sperm meets the egg and the baby starts to develope but because there is no way to predict exactly what day you ovulate on, they use the first day of your last period. A good wegsite for tracking the babies growth is www.babycenter.com the also have a due date calculator, so you know when the baby is due. Its 40 weeks.
btw, Congrats!

All you do is count the weeks from the first day of your last period. You are 5 weeks along!

First piece of advice is to see a doctor who will provide you with all of the information you need. You can also go to Webmd.com and start a pregnancy calendar to track your weeks based on your first date of your last period. They start "counting" on the first date of your last period, so you may be 5 weeks pregnant right now (as of Jan 22). Agan, your best bet is to see a doctor who will ask and answer questions and provide you with tests and nutritional advice among other things.

well to conceive, you have to be ovulating at the time which is about 4 days before your period. if you have an "average cycle" i would guess that you are about 2 weeks pregnant, but it's best to talk to your doctor. Congratulations (if you were hoping for a pregnancy)!

well ,when was the last time you had sex? well if you got pregnant after that you would be about maybe 2- 4 weeks. but it would be best if you saw a doctor they tend to know more about these things :) And they can see you physically and everything so it will be more accurate.
