Hello everyone, I have a problem. My little sister just got an ipod nano that she asked me to hook up to a computer and put music on. I have tried hooking it up to four different USB 2.0 connections (two each on seperate computers). both computers say that it is not recognized and completely ignore it after that. So What is the problem?
I could understand one computer not working with it, but both having this problem with a brand new ipod nano?

Both PCs need to have Win XP Service Pack 2 install on it. The USB 2.0 driver is included in the Service Pack 2. You can run Window updates to get SP2 or just download it directly from the Microsoft website.

Did you install iTunes on the machines? You need to do that first.
