I believe we are jealous because everything they do is a success most of the time. It was a Jew, Haim Solomon, who financed the greater portion of the American Revolution. Jews have been at the forefront of science and education, statesmanship, even entertainment. Even Jews who have chosen a somewhat less respectable path in life have been successful.
I believe, even if others don't, that Jews are successful because they are God's chosen people, like it or not. God says "If you bless Israel, I will bless you. If you curse Israel, you will be cursed."
There is nothing like success to make people love you.....or hate you.

Yes the worm has turned. Once a group that were not accepted into gentile country clubs and such, now they own the country clubs, the newspaper and tv stations, the important banks and mortgage banking companies, etc. etc. Also dominating Hollywood such one quip from Mel Gibson and the Jewish community turns out en masse and threatens to see that he never works again in the business. You could go on all day with this but you get the idea. Hence, the answer is as presented above. That is why "we" are both jealous and even afraid of the Jews. They have made it their business to own the business and therefore are the owners and "we" are the renters and sharecroppers. Is not that perfectly clear?

When they were driven out of their homeland in the Diaspora, they had to learn new skills, customs and languages, in adapting to thier new environments. Those who didn't perished. Those who did, reproduced, passing on those traits. Historically, they have been denied land ownership, so they had to make a living in other ways, JEWellery, finance(loans for interest), music, medicine & scholastics, to name a few. They learned to value hard work, family and religion, communicating new opportunities to exploit, meeting at Synagogues, supporting newcomers and those in trouble, spreading warnings about pogroms. Generally speaking, they are more law abiding, have fewer problems with alcohol, drugs, smoking and gangs than the rest of the population. I'm not Jewish ; I'm not anti Semitic, but I am anti Zionist and believe strongly that the Israelis should abandon any settlements in Palestinian territory and withdraw to the pre 1967 boundaries.

The feelings that some people have toward the Jews anywhere, is not jealousy but hate. It is hate in it's most ignorant form. Those that hate something are usually those that are afraid of it or are just to stupid to learn anything new. It is a shame that some people are that way, but there it is. It is the same with the black community, Muslims, Christians, Atheist's or any other group of people willing to stand up for their right to believe or be the way they are. It is through understanding of one another and not ignorance we will learn to get along.
