How do you break a leg or arm in your house?

My brothers arm and leg looks like it is broken? He wont tell me how it happened just that he did it in the house

The fact that it looks broken and no one has taken him for medical attention and that he wont say how it happened is very fishy. If he's a minor, be persistent and try to find out what happened. It is possible to break a limb at home but, that 2 limbs look broken would mean quite a fall.

I broke my arm when my sister pushed me across the room that I was air-born for a bit before landing on the hard-wood floors on my wrist. My friend broke her leg falling down the stairs.

I was drunk, tripped over my coffee table and broke my foot. In hindsight, I wished I had made up a better story to tell inquisitive folks. Maybe your brother is trying to come up with a good story...indulge him.

Falling down the stairs, running into something too fast, or too hard, or if you have a trampoline w/o a net etc.

Well, the bathtub is one possibility. Kitchens and bathrooms have a lot of hard surfaces, or maybe the garage if it's part of the "house".
