No, in fact I believe that they will each abort installation when they detect the other. There is no need for two AV on a system anyway. If you suspect that your AV is not detecting something that is on your system, and you want a second opinion from another scanner, then you should try one of the free online scanners such as Trendmicro or Kaspersky. No two anti virus programs can exist in the same computer. When I was downloading my AVG free 7.5, I was prompted to uninstall the Norton first. Two systems would be harmful to the computer. And besides, McAfee and Norton would kill each other ! Neither one is good. They take over your computer. I wouldn't use either one.

Bith these softwares are well known for their Wonderful Memory handling. Use only one of them and McAfee is better than Norton.

No. I tried both and they cannot coexist on the same computer. They will try and knock the other one out; just like a virus.l
