I agree with Selva. Furthermore, if it was not a safe place, I don't think that all the hotels would have registered 100% occupancy for the last Festive Season, as I have overheard.

No it is a very safe place. Of course, like all other parts of the world and probably less so in Mauritius, there are places where one and even Mauritians should not venture.

I was born inMauritius. I now live in the UK. And yes, I did feel scared each time I went back. It's the amount of supernatural experiences I've heard about, as well as the experiences I have had while there, some seem to have no reasonable explanations.
