Some sort of bad-food magnet.
There are many different foods I like that MUST come with certain bits that I despise and try to eat around (like onions) and if I had a magnet to hold over the food to take all of the onions out for me, my world would be a lot better.

The miracle invention that would transform our world would be a skill transfer device.
With a check you can buy material items, or beauty. However, if one wants to excel at diplomacy, or teach, one has to expend considerable effort to become a Subject Matter Expert. There isn't a substitute really, to a degree in Electrial Engineering.
Now, instead of downloading games or music to your computer, you download skill. You attach the headset, and after a time, you are a brain surgeon. You pick up both the kinesthetic sense of how to hold the scalpel, and cut, plus the detailed knowledge of brain structures and key arteries.
This is possibly the most disruptive device I could think of. A future society, that has the capability to transfer skill would be very, very fast paced and dynamic, since anyone with access could be an world-class expert in any subject desired.

We need to invent a small, hand-held device like a small pistol. It would have a bell-shaped nozzle with one setting that would cause warring factions to lay down their weapons and return home in peace.
Another setting would cause the poor and unfortunate to create wealth and well-being.
Yet another setting would cause the hateful, fearful, envious and violent to be soothed and happy.
And it would have a small, pliant hook on the side that you could use to pick your nose.
