i think a lot of the time, it has to do with religion. i know i was raised in the church and it is taught and engrained(shoot, did i spell that right??) that one should wait until marriage to have sex. it is taught that that's the right thing to do, or else you'll go to hell (basically). also, the way society works, it's just thought that guys are all horny and they just can't seem to help themselves. it has become accepted that that's just the way it is. girls are considered sluts or whores if they sleep around, and that seems to be how society has made things. girls are supposed to be lady like and all that jazz. so it's harder for girls to just give it up. not to mention, males and females have vastly different ways of thinking. have you ever known a girl to over-analyze? yea, most do. we think about things, like sex, for example, and we actually process it (believe it or not). it has to be with the "right guy", preferably someone the girl is in love with, or she would feel slutty. also, what about all the risks? guys don't get pregnant, now do they? i could keep going, but i think you get the point. girls are just much more complex thinkers, no offense. for a girl, it's so much more than just having sex. hope this helps!

it is a big deal to some girls because some of us care about are bodies and reputation's so that's why losing your virginity is a big deal. Also Sex is a very big deal and if you are not careful you might get STD's or AID's maybe even a baby if your not careful with who your sex partner is or in some cases the guy you had a one night stand with. True most males don't care but you are males you are horny guys so it seems right for you to lose your virginity that's why you don't care. And another thing when i meet the man I'm going to marry i don't want him to feel like a hot dog floating down a high school hallway so that's why virginity is a big deal to me and other girls.

that is a great deal to three women folk as a results of the undeniable fact that some human beings care about are our bodies and acceptance's so as it really is why dropping your virginity is an vast deal. also sex is a very massive deal and in case you at the prompt are not careful you would get STD's or help's likely even a touch one in the experience that your now no longer careful with who your sex better half is or from time to time the guy you had a one nighttime stand with. real maximum adult males do no longer care yet you're adult males you're pleasing adult adult males so it type of feels splendid so that you'll be able to lose your virginity it really is why you do not care. And yet another element when I meet the guy i will marry i do not want him to have self belief like a sizzling dogs floating down a severe classes hallway so it particularly is why virginity is a vast deal to me and distinct women folk.

It is a part of society, which has been strongly influenced by christian values since before we had our own nation. Back in biblical times, the sheet from the wedding night was kept after marriage to use as proof of the virginity of the bride. Fornication ( premarital sex ) was counted as a wrong that could be punished by death. It was shameful, a sin against God and was dangerous.
Disease could be introduced into a spouse or family in the case of loose morals. That wouldn't be very kind to the other spouse or the kids, huh, especially when marriage was a life-long deal. Who would like to be surprised right after marriage with some bad VD stuff or hepatitis ?!
Now-a-days, what about AIDS as a honeymoon surprise.? Better to be safe than sorry.
Besides that, there is a matter of psychological bonding. It is helpful to not have lots of "others" and also to not be wondering about your future spouse's "others." Jealousy & suspicion can wreak havoc in relationships.
Finally, ... what about the kids you may have someday. What will you tell them...or be afraid to tell them about? What about when they are teenagers? Hmmm.

Because as the female, we are letting a man INSIDE of us. That first time is a huge deal. We're taking our relationship to a whole new level that we've never been at before. Some girls aren't sensitive like that, but the fact still remains that we are the receiving person. It even hurts the first time, and to go through all of that we have to trust and love our partners immensely, given that we aren't whores.

bc for girls most of the time if we have a reputation to keep, we have to deal with the nine monthes of pregnancy deal, we are way more emotional than u guys, and alot of us want us to be that special someone. and from personal experiance we are scared and we dont want to be used..bc alot of guys, not all are jerks and used girls. and plus teenage life is hard with our peers. and u guys like to brag about it then it gets around and then it gets blown up into a whole big deal. then the next thing you know ur known as the school slut and everybody thinks that ur easy. most girls and guys have two totally different perspectives about the whole ordeal, alot of time we hear stories from other girls who say that it hurt real bad, and that they regret doing it and stuff...to put point blank, we have morals.

Well, eh... For me, it's not only, that the girl has to worry about getting pregnant and all that. I don't know how to explain it, but... Anatomically, it's easier for a girl to have sex than it is for a boy. It might even hurt a little for a girl the first time, which isn't true for boys. And I also believe, that the first time IS special, something you should share with someone you love and not just do for the heck of it.

some girls realize something that many guys dont at this point in their lives - they have a future. this could be hindered by stds and getting pregnant. obviously. besides, many girls want to be virgin brides and hav no regrets on their wedding days.

It IS a BIG DEAL!!! The first time to a girl is very SPECIAL. Girls also have EMOTIONS that boys DO NOT!! And, of course; girls must concern themselves NOT ONLY with diseases, but pregnancy!!
The TRUTH?? Girls DESERVE to be treated like lady's. Boys, get your minds OUT OF THE GUTTER & start opening doors, dating, buying flowers, & RESPECTING those girls!!
