luxury would be Louis Vuitton, Versace, Fendi, D&G, Chanel, Dior, etc.
Affordable would be Gap, Old Navy, Aero, etc.
Abercrombie is neither. It's in between, it's "Casual Luxury", so their clothes look casual but in the world of casual and affordable, it's luxury, but in the world of luxury designers, it's affordable.
To me, it's affordable, but a lot of people would say it's too expensive. They have very cute, and trendy preppy clothes that are very high quality and body flattering.
www.abercrombie.com check it out for yourself.

a lot of ppl in middle school and high school wear abercrombie...so it's not really a luxury brand. But it's not an affordable brand either. depends on if ur parents think it's expensive.

Abercrombie is not a designer brand or anything, but they are nice. Abercrombie clothes are quite pricey, but they cost nothing compared to what my Swedish cousin usually pays for clothes. So when he came to America he was shocked at their great quality, stylish look, and affordable price.

Well here is an Abercrombie breakdown...
A winter sweater is over $70, a summer tank top over $30 and a pair of underware is over $15
Mostly worn by 12-17 year old girls whose parents obviously buy it for them...VERY common in american high schools where students dress HEAD TO TOE in abercrombie.
College age boys are fans of abercrombie and you can see these boys hanging out with the few girls in college that are still wearing the head to toe abercrombie label.
abercrombie wearers usually copy some strange trend that the employees start...like wearing leg warmers with flip-flops (trend for a few months in 2005).
To work at abercrombie you must purchase and wear abercrombie clothing...discounted, but still overpriced.
There is a store called Hollister and one called American Eagle that are similar to abercrombie, but less expensive.
I must admit that some basic items of abercrombie clothing...mostly jeans...can become a fovorite, but as for the ABERCROMBIE label across your chest...that is for the youngens...you wont see ANYONE over the age of 28 wearing all abercrombie unless they are re-living their college glory days!!
all in all...it is a luxury brand...NOT affordable

It depends.
For some it's a luxury, but for some others, it's affordable.

In my opinion, some things are quite expensive and not worth the cash, such as the coats. Other things are pretty well priced, though. It all just depends on how much money you want to spend.

Very expensive, I would call it luxury, though the clothes aren't really that luxurious. Go to www.abercrombie.com or www.abercrombiekids.com . Hollister's a ton cheaper www.hollisterco.com

both. To be able to afford them is definutely a luxury. But they are a brand name too. So both answers your question.
