Not surprised. This is all part of a civil war and was expected by a number of people when we toppled the government. Saddam was a bad guy, but it will take a bad guy to hold Iraq together. Either that or Iraq needs to be divided into three parts. That will still cause warfare between the Kurds, Sunni's and Shiite's over the oil revenue, as well as Kurds and Turks over their long standing feud. As I said, Saddam was a bad guy, but he did run a secular government which is better then the Iranian influenced government that Iraq now has.

Hi. A complex problem. The Sunni and Shi'ite tribes have deep religious convictions which are apparently not compatible. The Shi'ite majority seems intent of "pay back" for years of domination. Not going to be ending soon in my opinion.
