ok, i was just wondering..when you became pregnant, did you notice a difference between "pregnant boobs" and "premenstrual boobs"?

i am asking because it is approx. 4 DPO and i am DESPERATELY searching for a sign of pregnancy..and all i have so far is the semi-tender boobies that i usually have around this time. Occasionally i noticed a quick, sharp pain in my left nipple, and that boob tends to get larger this time of month, but that is all really. they are not an heavier or veiner than usual.

i am familiar with all the signs of pregnancy and have been to ALL the sites,so u dont need to tell me, and i am aware that i can test after period is due..but this is just simply killing me that i do not have signs.. i am just looking for some insight from women who may have experienced something like this.

Thanks so much

I was the SAME way! I knew ALL the signs and symptoms, but didn't have any! I figured there was no way I was pregnant, but it turns out I was! I still don't have all the symptoms they talk about... I'm 15 weeks and I JUST started noticing darker veins in my boobs a couple weeks ago. I've never had cravings or extra sensitivity to smells. But I totally know how your feeling right now. I paid attention to EVERY feeling in my body during that "wait" time thinking, "Could THIS be a pregnancy symptom?" Hang in there and good luck!

when i thought i was pregnant, i noticed that my breasts felt as they would if i were getting my period. exactly the same. tender, swollen and with some sharp pains.
i truly FELT like i was about to get my period and had convinced myself that i wasn't pregnant that month and would have to try again next month. it wasn't until i was driving home from the suburbs after visiting my parents when i LITERALLY fell asleep at the wheel, that i realized that something was quite off. (i didn't get into an accident, just COULD not stop from nodding off).
so i drove straight to the drug store and picked up a pregnancy test and found out later that night that i was indeed pregnant.
i was supposed to get my period that morning which goes to show you that sometimes you don't have to wait a couple of days to test. early detection is possible.
good luck to you! if you are preggers, congratulations! it was the best time of my life when i found out i was pregnant. well no, it was the second best to when my daughter was born:)

my boobs always hurt right before my period but this was a different kind of pain, usually my whole boobs hurt before my period and when I was pregnant they only hurt on the side but my nipples felt sensitive also-- I also noticed these little lumps starting to come around my nipples--hope this helps

My boobs felt sensitive and I couldn't even tolerate anything against them. I once leaned over my desk and almost cried! The ariola got darker and I did get those bumps around them as well. They have not grown and I am 25 weeks. I heard they grow alot towards the end. Good luck!

My nipples didn't really have sharp pains but the bottom of my breast would feel heavier and occasionally have a sharp pain.

Sorry honey, but until your body is ready to show signs, you won't get any.

I hope that you get the result that you want soon :)
