I assume 5.3 v8, with 3.73 gears?
Geez, guys, these things get better than that!
Mine's a 2wd with a 5.3 and 3.42 gears. I get 21 mpg highway, and about 18 city.
Your truck, hmmmm maybe about 18-19 highway and 15-16 city.
Next time you fill up, reset your tripometer. When you fill up after that, take note of the miles on the tripometer. Divide that by number of gallons of fuel used, and you'll end up with your AVERAGE mpg used on that tank of gas. So let's say, about 300 miles on a tank of gas. Sounds about right. Now divided by the 17 gallons of fuel you used, that would be right at 17 mpg averaged on that tank.
You won't find out exactly how much you used in the city, or highway, but you will get your average. And I'd say an average for yours will probably be about 17 mpg or so. I average about 19 mpg with a fairly even mix of city and highway. With some performance parts, it can increase, thats why mine is pretty good, even for how many miles it has. If you have more questions email me.
Hope this helps!

i own a repair shop, and the most of the ones that i have seen usually get around 15-18 at the most, and this is highway mileage, around town usually on a good day they get around 9-12 miles to the gallon,,maybe a little more, depending on the truck and the driver,i had one and sold it, 14 was my best mileage ever on it,so i got rid of it,but you cant expect a lot from them, but they will pull a car hauler or a trailer really good,i miss that part of it,,but as far as mileage goes,i stopped trying to keep track of it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

depends on so many things. driving habits, condition, etc.. so many things affect mileage. basically, 13-15 around town, and 18-20 on the hiway. these, may be a tad generous. your mileage may vary. haahaa. sound like a car ad, huh?

i doubt it, one because ones a ford the other is chevy and two because the 6 lugs probably might have different spacing distance between the lugs than a 5 lug
