To do what? Buy or sell?
I have found that it is easy to sell a house yourself and save the huge commission checks that real estate brokers earn. You will need to do some homework about the regulations in your state. If you are buying, begin with websites like realtor.com. Either way, do your homework before you buy or sell a house.

depends on where you live, and weather you are an agent or buying/selling your house???
i would say the individual agent is more important than the company if you are selling/buying.
if its your career, i would pick a reputable agency with a good name and one that gives you the most % split on your sales.
