well, my boyfriend in high school---my first love--would leave me love letters and a rose every single morning in my mailbox before school. he was in high school too so this was quite an achievement. he was very romantic with his wording and not sexual but extremely loving and deep. this process went on for probably six months until his mom got wind of it and him wasting the money he earned working at the library on me. we still went out and he still left the letters. we were together for about 10 months total. we broke up about 2 months before college. it was heartbreaking. i am 33 now, married and have three kids and never had anyone love me that much again. i am thankful to have had that time and that experience.

I just gave my wife a Diamond eternity ring for her birthday / Anniversary (fall within a week of each other).

I contacted her friend in NY who had the ring made, had it taken to a second country where it was dropped off with my parents in law who then broight it over here.

I packeged it up in boxes - large to smallest and then left a note in the smallest with an IOU.

Later that night I then gave her a Kinder Suprise egg that i had taken the real presant out of and replaced with the ring (having put back the chocolate of course).

Proposed to on the beach in Cornwall, where we had met a couple of years before on that exact date, surrounded by the people i love (as well as people i don't know!!) as the sun was going down... after i said "yes" people started lighting candles, a bonfire was built, a couple of bbq's started up and the booze started to flow.... And there was me thinking it was just a beach party we were attending, i didn't know it was actually my engagement party!! He's lucky i said yes! Imagine if id said no!!

Well, it was probably only romantic to me, but my boyfriend got into a sort of squabble with his buddies because he wanted to bring me along for a night at the pool hall. They said no chicks, he said, she's not just some chick, she's my best friend and I want to play pool with her. I didn't go with them, but it really touched me that he'd stand up to his buddies (most of 'em real pigs, gang banger wannabes) and tell them that, because I know they made some SERIOUS fun of him for it.

WELL MY HUSBAND KNEW I LOVE THE MOVIE AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN. AND I TOLD HIM AS A JOKE, THAT IT WOULD BE AMAZING FOR HIM TO GO TO MY OFFICE DRESS IN AN OFFICER SUIT.

VALENTINE DAY, FEB 14, 1996 I WAS IN A MEETING AROUND 3 PM AND I WAS CALLED THAT SOME ONE IN MY OFFICE NEED IT ME. SO ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER, I WENT TO MY OFFICE. THERE HE WAS DRESS IN WHITE AS A OFFICER AND HE LOOKED SO WONDERFULL, YUMMY AND SO HANDSOME WITH A SINGLE ROSE IN HIS HAND.

I RAN TO HIM AND KISS HIM SO TENDERLY AND AS WE WALKED HAND IN HAND TO MY OFFICE, BEFORE WE WALKED IN, HE PICK ME UP AND I OPEN THE DOOR AND PUT HIS HAT ON MY HEAD. AS WE ENTER, MY OFFICE HAD 16 BASKET OF RED ROSES ALL OVER. 16 REPRESENTING THE 16 YRS WE HAD TOGETHER.

TODAY WE HAVE 28 YRS AND LOVING IT EACH DAY.
