I have 4 cherry barbs and 4 panda cories in a 10 gallon tank. What other fish can I add. I'm looking for a loner fish; just one pretty fish will do.

from most books ive read no more than 10 fish should be in a 10 gallon. 1 fish per gallon is recommended. not many fish are loner fish really alot like to be in schools. the only one i know is a betta but barbs like flashy tails and would nip at the betta. try maybe a platy or molly.

Yeah, that's already a lot of fish for a little 10 gallon tank! The standard is 2 gallons of water for every inch of fish, s-o-o-o-o...

You are at your max right now. Unless you get rid of the cories, there is nothing else you can put in the tank if you want the tank to remain healthy.

You could add a few shrimps or snails, but no fish.

Dwarf gourami would be a pretty centerpiece fish or a betta, just make sure with either that the barbs don't nip at his fins.

Tinfoil barbs a nice! One will be fine by it's self and won' get too big in a 10 gallon.
