My husband died a year ago today and just this morning when I was putting on my favourite necklace, (it was a birthday present from him) the beads started spinning and the room suddenly grew colder. Is he trying to give me a message from the dead?

What a beautiful experience. It could very well be a simple message that says I love you. You don't seem frightened and I don't think it was meant to be so.

Personally, I don't think so. It's most likely just the combination of knowing it was one year ago today and popular folklore and media like The 6th sense that made you draw this connection. If you actually saw vapor coming from your mouth suddenly, perhaps there's more going on than meets the eye here. For now though, I think it may have just been a shiver running down your spine from the scary thought that he might still be there with you in some form.
Losing a loved one can be very hard and sometimes it takes a long time to get over it. Just take it one day at a time, try to get out and do things you enjoy doing, I'm sure your husband would've wanted you to do that.

It is quite possible, even though some people dont want to believe it. When there is a presence from beyond the grave, an area tends to become cold all of a sudden. These are called 'cold spots'. He might be trying to tell you something, or if you are in sorrow, hes trying to help you. The beads might have started shaking/spinning because the necklace was important to both of you in some way.

things can happen it could be imangination but then again it could be him. try this (if you ever watched the movie white noise u'll get it) set a recorder up close to a tv turned to static and have noise in the background such as running water leave it there for about 10 min. then afterwards rewind it and hold a microphone to it and play listen very closely to see if you hear anything. done this at my house and it actully worked i heard someone asking who's there 3 times so you could try that

It sure sounds like it. I read in a magazine that whenever the temperature suddenly drops, and glass like mirrors or windows fog up, then there is a presence within the house. I'm not sure how you can communicate with him but show no fear and try to let him know that you are with him.

It is likely your departed husband was just letting you know he is O.K and is still with you. He is like a guardian spirit watching over you. If he has a message, it will come in a dream, if you just ask.

Go to a book store and research what to look for. Taking a bath in seasalt will most likely clear your mind.

no that is a resentment he left before he died about the necklace maybe on a day he had given it to you could have been something you said or did even in the past time it says you cheated unusually on him prior to the necklace and he seen something or heard something and forgot about it. could include masterbation and not staying faithful to him by thinking of or doing something not right to your relationship. or you ticked off a gang member ( puertorican)
