In other words, a song that someone, other than the Beatles ,had already recorded.

Read CAREFULLY.....a song that the BEATLES COVERED. NOT a song by the Beatles that someone else covered!

Oh, wait...that's impossible! Sunshine! What do I say??

For their driving rock beats I love "Twist & Shout" (John lost his voice for weeks after recording that one - but you already that, don'tcha?) and "Roll Over Beethoven". More the latter - love Chubby, but Little Richard is da bomb:)

However, if I HAD to pick a favorite (forced at gunpoint, you know;) it would 100% definitely be "'Til There Was You." I mean, that voice, really. And he says "I sawr". I never sawr them winging, no I never sawr them at all, 'til there was you." And he pronounces "at all" as one word. Who does that? Could he get any cuter?

Roll Over Beethoven
The Beatles had a knack for covering tunes and making them there own.
Im sure all else would state Twist & Shout,
But I think the way The Beatles changed the tempo and fine guitar work by George makes this one their best cover.
Also, I'll give a nod to Rock and Roll Music as well for more less the same reasons
