There is no bible verse that gives men control over women. The bible talks about the wife being subservient to her husband, just as the husband is subservient to God and the church. Now, in those terms it is up to the men to determine what their responsibilities are. The requirements of woman was to be a help-mate to man, not a slave. If a man cannot be obedient to God, why should a woman be obedient to that man. The real kicker in this whole scenario is the amount of non-believers out their that use this stupid attitude to try and control women in their lives. Talk about hypocrisy! Instead of using God's word for our own selfish use, why not actually practice what is taught and maybe the world would be a better place.

First off the bible is a book written by a bunch of HUMAN do gooders!!!!!! I didn't say it was a no good book it is a wonderful book of short fables written by man to get man to do the right things.
Second Women having freedom is what is right about America not wrong every human in America should have equal freedom.
Third I am a man and if anyone has messed up anything it is US MEN!!!!!! Let the woman have a shot at it cant do ant worst than we have!!!!!!!!

I don't know what you are reading.... There is a saying "behind every good man there is a good woman," So if you think that women are messing things up then you may need to go and re-evaluate the men that were with them in their past, wether their spouses or their father... I am a woman that was taught to support my man in any decision that he makes. I think that I am a good woman , yeah I make my mistakes but so to you and the rest of the world..... But just to let you know, if you want a woman that is going to lie down and just do what you say then you need to go to another country because this is the "Land of the FREE and the home of the brave." Besides you need to clean out your closet before you try to clean someone else!!!

i think there are plenty of successful women in the working world.. myself naming one.. who dont mess things up.. i work in surgery saving people every single day.. i am proud of what i do.. and i will tell you that there are the deadbeat women as well as men.. i mean come on.. look at the president..you think that is a strong successful man? that is my biggest example as we know there are millions of little ones.. good luck on this one dude.. bible scripture or not.. times are different than they were back then..

Well if we are going to quote the Bible - it also states - "Men love your wife like Christ loved" Don't see a lot of that happening in our world. Blame, Judgement, Control, are not of love - they are about the ego.

In some ways I agree...Most women don't think rationally and they all hate eachother. But please give credit where credit is due - the problem with this country is too many ignorant people, not free women. Weather a woman is free or not she controls every part of her man weather he knows this or not or weather he chooses to admit it.
