How old r ur kids? R they in school? Have u thought about getting a job in the school cafe or as a substitute teacher.. U don't make a LOT and not nearly as much as u should but u would only work the hours they are in school..be off when they are.. Cafe work is not a big chance for advancement or a "clean" job by any means but it's hard to find a GOOD paying job during the hours your kids are in school.. Jobs between 8-3 are VERY few.. Have u checked on working at a temp agency.. They will work u the hours u want and most of the time don't work on weekends.. GL

I work graveyard shift because there is no way that I would EVER put my son in daycare. He was a preemie and he could become seriously ill by attending one. I get home just as my husband is getting up and I sleep for a few hours before my 2 year-old gets up. If all your kids are in school, how about applying for a job there so you would have all the same days off?

At that aspect your pastime will develop into plenty easier. You be sure the abode would not burn down...and if some thing like a hearth takes position you get the youngsters out and call 911. drowsing at a overdue evening babysitting pastime isn't a huge deal in my innovations. Did the mothers and fathers whinge? i'm hoping they paid you larger than the initially agreed upon cost on the grounds that they prolonged their day vacation very last minute.

Look for work on evening shift, then your husband can watch the kids. Dinner a problem? cook it in a crock pot, then he does'nt have to cook. Use paper plates on the eves. you work, then there is minimal clean-up, and fewer fights over whose turn it is to do the dishes. Husband-wife teamwork here is necessary. Try part-time first, it will be easier for all if your kids are in grade school, or pre-school. What about family or a neighbor who can watch your kids for a few hrs. until you husband gets home? I would love to tell you you don't have to work, but the eventual reality for most of us is that -yes- you will have to, So, keep it part-time at first till you get your bearings.

Check into a "baby sitter co- op" . Usually you sign up and offer so many hours per week in return for time people can watch your kids. That way no money is exchanged.
Look into where your kids go to school, local newspapers, groc.store bb's, etc.

No way, not when you have 4 kids. It's cheaper to stay at home with them. You might like what I do from home. See my profile since yahoo doesn't like for us to relay links.
