What kind was it and why did you get it? I was seven when I got my first cell phone and I got it because I rode to school through a bad city. I'm fourteen now and I have a razor.

O my God! I was about 18 years back in "85
Cell phones looked just like cordless phones & you had to carry a big battery pack w you!! Circa Miami Vice..pagers were more popular...
Then came the Motorola they were really at the forefront of cell phones...they had an awkward shape . like a triangle?? phones were not flat then, & they were "heavy"! w/ ZERO features, & a rubber antennae that flopped around. ..the phone would start to get hot after a while...they look sorta like what the military uses today....,black and NOT very attractive...then Nokia came out w/ stylish phones. My favorite phone was an LG ? my favorite company is Cingular.

Im 13 now, I got my first cell at 11 yrs. old, It was a nokia 5165, then I got anopther nokia 5165 and another and another. I kept looseing them, Then i got a Nokia 1100, Then a motrola t720. Then a nokia 6010. I'v went through so many cell phones, 3 got stolen, the others i ave lost dem. i ave had atleay 11 phones my my life-time. In 2 years, I went through 11 cell phones. Its almost sad. Now i ave a Samsung A900.

I am 14 I got my first cell phone at 8 it was a pre-paid didn't flip but now I got a phone that is flip takes videos and is part MP3

18 before I went to college. It was what was called a bag phone. Only to be used for emergencies. I'm 30 years old now so most of you probably do not know what a bag phone is

I was...like seven years old....i don't remember which model...but now I'm 14 years old and I have a Motorola Q...that phone its awesome!
and the phone that you have its pretty cool too.

if I'm not wrong, i got my first cell phone when i was 18... :D wow... it's more than 9 years now :P... it's an old Motorola T19 world...hehehe :D very old phone, but it's pretty small with a little antenna... :)

i was 11 yrs. old and i got a nokia..........i then got a samsung 1 year later and then in december of 2006 i got a Sony Ericsson..I am turning 14 this year.
