My long-distance boyfriend of 3 years has told me last night that he cannot continue this way anymore. He seems quite upset with our long-distance situation and he wants us to change it. We see each other once a month. He has been pretty upset about his job as he hasn't got promoted as he'd hoped for and since then he has been telling me he needs me to be closer to him and not far. He sent me an email today and he explained to me all the options we have and he said he'd be happy if I could be closer to him. He asked me what I think about it. I said I agree and I said I was glad he has raised the topic and I gave him my options and we both agreed to a common goal. However, one thing I dont like is that he gave us a deadline of 6 months as he said that otherwise nothing will change if we dont put some pressure on us. He said if nothing will change within the next 6 months, he wont be able to continue this way anymore. He was very logical and practical about it tonight. What do you think?

THE QUESTION HERE YOU SHOULD BE ASKING YOUR SELF IS ... DO YOU LOVE HIM, ENOUGH FOR YOU TO MAKE A COMMITMENT TO SHARE YOUR LIFE WITH HIM, AND STAND BY HIM NO MATTER WHAT? HE IS READY FOR ONE AND HE IS ASKING YOU TO MAKE THE NEXT MOVE. A MOVE THAT WILL BE THE MEANING OF STARTING A NEW LIFE WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE.

HE IS PUTTING GOALS AND GOALS IN THIS LIFE IS GREAT. WHEN YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU SET UP GOALS AND YOU WILL DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO REACH SUCH GOALS. WELL HE IS DOING SO. HE SOUNDS LIKE HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS NO OTHER WOMAN BUT YOU BY HIS SIDE.

DONT BE AFRAID OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEND. JUMP IN WITH THE FAITH THAT YOU GUYS ALONG WITH GOD ALL WILL BE FINE.

GOOD LUCK.

Putting a deadline on this situation will definately put pressure on you and pressure comes with added stress. Take your time to think the situation over carefully and look at the pro's and cons. After all he wants you to move nearer to him and not the other way round. Whatever you do don't do this just for him, make sure it's what you want as well. Remember you're the one uprooting from where you live and it could all end in tears.

This probable seems stupid and man made yet, you'll flow on.. Im promise. very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days my brother kicked the bucket, at the same time i become failing 5 classes.. My grandma become very very ill, and my dad lost his pastime. that isn't any lie. yet as time strikes alongside so will you, you would possibly want to not in any respect ignore about the dogs or the lady, yet you won't be able to enable this stuff keep you from no longer residing your existence. Your entitled to a strong existence, all of us are, so please make the finest of it. and your no longer the in user-friendly words one to question god, I requested god why maximum of all he had to take my brother... and human beings saved telling me he had his causes, and to this present day I actually have not all started to figure out what they were. yet i recognize that the human beings you want, does no longer want you to be so depressing. My suggestion to you is merely attempt so demanding, with an open innovations, attempt to flow alongside (for sure without forgetting about your previous). that's the most acceptable component that you should do in the present day.

I think it is good to set a deadline to go on, so that you try to work things out rather than saying i must sort this soon. Make sure this is really what you both want, Your heart should make the right decision.

Don't look at it as a six month ultimatum. Instead, see it as a goal. I see nothing wrong with setting goals that have realistic timelines.
