It means you don't look at problems one dimentionally. You see different ways to solve problems. If one thing is hard for people to understand, you are able to find a different way to explain it so that people understand. Good teachers are very good lateral thinkers. They think of many ways to explain things instead of just reading the text book versions of everything. They truly UNDERSTAND things.
