sorry for your loss. if your dad is seeking a gf, he should do it at his own pace. he could still be grieving. he can search online dating sites, ask friends to set him up, or he can go out and meet people in town such as the super market or book club. Once again he need to do this at his own pace.

That's nice that you want to find a girlfriend for your dad. Think about your dad's feelings. Is he ready to move on and find a girlfriend? If so, get him involved in school functions such as PTA meetings where he could possibly meet someone. There is also community fuctions he could get involved in if he has the time to meet an available woman. If he has a poblem with this, he could always try internet dating services such as eharmony.com. I heard it was good. Make sure he is ready to move on before you try and help. Good luck!

I'm so sorry. How long ago did your mother pass on? Your father may need more time. Have you discussed a potential relationship with him? If that's what he wants, you could point him to some of the better dating websites that are out there. My own father uses them and has met several nice people.
