I think that if they are spayed and get along really well, then the 20" x 37" cage would be alright. Make sure they're spayed, though, because female rabbits can get really territorial and have some nasty fights! I also think that if at all possible, you should get an even bigger cage; the biggest one you can possibly afford. You can make some really great roomy cages with NIC wire storage grid panels for a fraction of the cost as the rabbit cages that are sold in pet stores. (I did this for my own two rabbits and they seem happy--the size of their cage is 28" x 56", and it has two levels). But they also get lots of time to run around the house.

So, if you're firm on the 20" x 37" cage, please make sure that they're not cooped up in there 24/7...bunnies need exercise time too.

That size cage is barely big enough for ONE rabbit. Definitely too small for two. I have one rabbit who lives in a 24x36" DOUBLE level cage (making it almost twice as big as it's actual dimensions) and even he has free roam of my kitchen and dining room every evening. He is only confined to his cage when I'm not home.

Rabbits really need much more room than most rabbit cages provide (which is why I made my own). Check out www.rabbit.org for lots of bunny info.

Do keep in mind that if your bunnies are only 4mo old, they're probably going to get a bit bigger than they currently are. While dwarfs stay smaller, they still get to be larger than, say, a guinea pig. The more room the better. You can get away with a little bit smaller cage IF the rabbits will be able to roam a larger area REGULARLY. Good luck. They really do make great pets.

That is not a very big cage for two rabbits, even dwarf rabbits. That size cage is sufficient for one, double that cage size and as long as they get along together fine, they could live together for as long as they enjoy each other's company.
Ideally, rabbits will get along fine in a neutral area together, but want their own cage as their "own space".

How do you like to live in a cage that's 10 feet by 20 feet? Release the poor animals, give them their freedom in the wild, animals are meant to be free, not caged.. caging animals is a crime!
