need more info but you can try this go to start, my computer, and when the page opens right hand click on the HD local disk C, then left click on properties, then tools, then error checking and put a tick in both boxes, then restart the computer and allow it to check the computer.

Clean your computer , unintstall unused programs, (if they comes with uninstatll feature use that ,if not, use add/remove programs follow the list one by one, remove only the programs that you are sure you don't use, carefull not to erase system updates or system important programs) , then click start , all programs, accesorries, system tools, and do a disk clean up , then a disk deframent of your computer . Update your antivirus protection, also visit windows update . At control panel (if you have a Xp)click perfomance and maintenace,system , advanced, at performance click setting and check "adjust for best performance" and then ok. At security center , firewall , automatic updates and virus protection , all three should be on.

The question is not very clear. I assume that you have to restart your PC because it is freezing.
