What effect do enery drinks have on you when you are pregnant? I work 12-hour shifts and I am not sure whether or not if I am pregnant but if I am I don't want it to hurt my fetus

NO energy drinks! The ingredients in them are very bad for your developing baby. Ginseng is in most energy drinks and it is recommended that you not have any Ginseng while pregnant. It is a herb. I don't know what kind of birth defects it causes, but my Uncle is a Ginseng farmer and has told me (as well as my doctor) that it is bad for the baby.

i took energy drink at first to keep me going. but immediatley stopped when my doctor told me how horribly dangerous it was.
i would inform your ob and and your doctor would give you the best answers!!
