We are engaged! But won't get married till we finish school!

Definetley, I am, have been for 4 years, you never reall yknow someone until you live with them,

are they a good cook

are they clean

are they a bed hog

does the sex change

are they a bum

can they pay their bills

and most of all

can you get along for that amount of time on your own

Yes, but get engaged then live with him/her.

I am going to lean on the "No" side. At least wait until you are engaged.
If you absolutely want to live together, set out ground rules prior to doing this. Talk about the obvious things like money, cleaning etc. Also, talk about when/if you might get engaged/married. If this isn't talked about before, usually someone in the relationship wants to get married eventually and the other person "doesn't see the point" because they are already acting like a married couple.
I moved in way too soon with a guy many years ago. And after you move in, you can't take it back. I have also seen this happen to lots of other people. People don't take the moving in step seriously and just see it for the financial and convenience benefits. Big mistake.
Now, I am engaged to a great guy and we are planning to move in together in the fall and get married. I am really glad I waited this time.
