Both are ludicrous. First, after you ate your sister--what would you have to eat after that? Second, if you killed yourself, your sister would be all alone--plus, you screwed up any chances of being rescued.

There are plants in the desert--I'm sure you'd find something to eat until help came--deserts are patrolled by police, etc.
