I actually didn't teach her, the kids at school did. I don't think she actually believes in them though, she is just going along with the peer pressure at school.

It's all part of growing up and having memories of your childhood. I bet there's not many people out there who doesn't have one or two fond memories of a certain Christmas, or an easter egg hunt or when they got their first quarter from the tooth fairy.

keep on with the tradition! It doesn't matter that kids are telling her different. If she stops believing, she could miss out on an important part of her childhood!
...but of course it all depends on how old she is. 5th-6th graders should probably know the truth, but if she's younger than that then don't burst her bubble.

This is REALLY a personal decision you need to make yourself. I don't see any harm in it and we did all those with our kids. But, I do wish we hadn't--we would have still done the presents etc, but we wouldn't have pretended they were real. BUT AGAIN, if you want to do it or not do it, either is fine and up to you.

It's your daughter do what you want, don't worry what others say or think, tell them to mind their own business. There's nothing wrong with believing in these things, when they get older they figure it out for themselves.

I wouldnt because thats the reason your kids go bad. You tell them they do believe and then all of a sudden they find out they dont. Then what happens. Your kid turns into a murderer. Stop telling kids that all this crap exists when its a bunch of bullshit.

Tell her that these are beautiful Fairy Tales, and as it is with fairy tales they will sometimes come true, and sometimes they just will fly away.
