I am a true Yankee fan, and don't pay any attention to those who can't come up with anything better than "the Yankees suck"- it's the limitation of their vocabulary.
And as far as location goes, you don't have to live in the Bronx or even NYC to be a fan. I live upstate and I am wedged between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Toronto, but I still bleed pinstripes.

Yankees ALL THE WAY here. And as far as where you live - we recently moved from the Bronx and now we live in Tampa and there seem to be more Yankees fans that Devil Rays fans here so it truly doesn't matter where you live - you just gotta love em'

I'm a die hard yankee fan,I'v been all my life i support the whole team.And where is it written in the Bible that you have to live in the Shithole of the Bronx to be one?I did live in the bronx a long time ago! But thank god my family moved us out of that dump,,I'm still in ny,But just BC you don't live in the city doesn't mean you can't love the Yankees!!! Gooooooooooo Yankeess

Do you even live in New York City? or the Bronx? I feel like that has to be a prerequisite when determining this. I'm a huge Jeter fan! he represents all that is right with baseball!!

heck yeah i luv the new york yankees for ever there the best team with great players who play the game with passion i luv the team forever and every year they have a good chance to win

Everyone else dislikes the Yankees severly. sorry to break it to ya. o, and noone likes the tigers, or the white sox, or the red sox, or the athletics, or the rangers, or the indians, or the devil rays. everyone loves the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals because we have David Eckstein.
