Suresh is nice name. A bit old but good. Its name of Lord Shiva or Lord Indra.
The meaning of Suresh -
Suresh = Sur + eesh
Sur - Holy men
eesh - King
Suresh - King of holy men.
No way it can be a bad name.

I actually knew a guy named Suresh. I worked with him.
He was by NO MEANS gay or effeminate. In fact, he is a karate instructor and VERY good looking. Not to mention smart and nice to boot. The name has only good connotations for me. Although, perhaps he had to learn to defend himself early on...who knows. Early challenges can build character!!
