Cheap and Porsche are pretty much mutually exclusive. My advice is to join an owners' club. A lot of times other owners can point you in the direction of a good deal, having been there before. Also, do not use a universal wire set. The insulators at the ends of the 928's plug wires are unique, and a lot of the problems people experience with them is carbon tracking across the insulators. The best thing to do, the thing that will cause you the least additional expenditures and headaches, is to get the correct Bosch wires and the correct Bosch plugs. They are expensive, but not nearly as expensive as having to do the job twice.

you wont find cheap ones for a 928 S4. theyre just too rare, and the motor was only used on that car.

Very lucky i may say though, because 928s are beyond sweet.

While you are getting your plugs and filters ask the part guy for a universal wire kit. You have to cut them to size and put the ends on them but if you can do the tune up yourself you will be able to handle the wires too. Good luck and have fun.

You may have to check Pepboys or Autozone in your area. Going to the dealer is expesnive. Buy Eurocar.com mag in the stores. I use to have porsche 944 Turbo.
