He was a childhood actor played roles in The Lost Boys, The Goonies. Was actually quite popular in the early 90's.

He's a washed up 1980s movie star, and former teen idol. Most notably, he was "Mouth" in The Goonies and "Edgar" in The Lost Boys (where he starred alongside the other Corey of 80s fame, Corey Haim). He was also a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and popped up in the Friday the 13th franchise.
At this point he's practically a cult figure due to his nosedive in popularity and his troubles with drugs and alcohal. Former Child Star Syndrome, I suppose.

he was the army kid w/glasses in Stand By Me he really fell from grace- lost his money and i think was into drugs; last i saw him was in 1992 on Howard Sterns TV show lip synching to "Whats Up With the Youth"- i guess from his own rap album
